Amazon ‘Kindle’

How to make the most of the busy Christmas rush to maximise sales.

Christmas is a good time of year for the Amazon Kindle. Like many products in the ERT channel, it enjoys a dramatic spike in sales over the holiday period. In 2017 Amazon, a long standing customer, requested a combined merchandising and assisted sales program for the Kindle range in a selected number of JB Hi Fi, The Good Guys and Office Works stores for the 4 weeks leading up to Christmas.

How we helped – product merchandising to amplify sales

As a trusted provider of product merchandising to Amazon, we were uniquely placed to help them make the most of their Christmas sales period. Our team went into stores and trained the retail staff and department managers. While there they also ensured the Amazon Kindle’s were set up correctly throughout the store using a customised planogram. And they
reported and resolved any issues with the Kindle Live units. Finally, they took photos of how the staff left the store and collected sales data, which formed part of our weekly reporting.
